Using a Colour Wheel is a great way to experiment with different colour combinations in your jewellery making. This Interactive Colour Wheel allows you to choose a colour and then see all the different colour schemes you can use that colour in.
To use this Colour Wheel click on a colour. The colour schemes will be displayed underneath. To see all the beads we stock in that colour scheme click on the View Beads link.

Split Complementary Colour Scheme
For the best effects try to have different amounts of each colour. It is much more pleasing to the eye for either the main colour or the two split complementary colours to dominate.

Triadic Colour Scheme
Again this scheme can look best when you have the colours in different proportions. A good way is to use them in decreasing amounts, one colour should dominate, then there should be a less of the second colour and just tiny amounts, or accents, of the third colour.
