Gold Filled lobster claw clasps for high quality jewellery making. Gold Filled components are made from a layer of gold bonded to a base metal. The layer of gold is much thicker than gold plated components and must be 10 Karot or higher.
To qualify to be called gold plated the gold must account for at least 1/20th of the weight of the component.
