Crimp beads and tubes are tiny metal beads that can be flattened with pliers to clamp two pieces of beading wire together securely.
The usual techique is to thread the crimp bead on the wire, thread the wire through the clasp and then thread it back through the crimp bead. Flatten the bead to hold the wire in place and the clasp is then secure.
For more information see our tutorial on how to use a crimp bead.
